INTERVIEW WITH STAKEHOLDERS

Our work begins with a Stakeholders interview. Understanding the Goals, Mission, and Vision of the company is imperative to a successful end result. Discussing brand, direction, a timeline, and any potential limitations gives us the necessary input we need to create a successful product. We collaborate closely between our team and the client during our design process and work together to achieve the desired results.

RESEARCH

We carefully analyze the market and users and competitors before we begin to work on the design aspect of a project. This helps ensure your website stands out from competitors and that we reach our focused goals. For website redesign projects, we analyze the existing website, using analytics, heatmaps, and other like minded tools. Depending on the project’s needs, we often create Personas, Customer Journey Map, and Informational Architecture.

02. DESIGN EXPLORATION

We work to find elevated creative ideas to communicate the heart of products and/or services. The Design Exploration phase is the starting point. We brainstorm what we want to convey on a website and the best medium for communicating those ideas.

BRAINSTORM

This is where the magic begins. In the brainstorming phase, we utilize various creative methods to introduce fresh, inventive ideas that grab the user’s attention and emphasize a product’s highlights. This is where our creative team works together to brainstorm the strongest project direction.

MOOD BOARDS AND BRAND VOICE

We create a moodboard and assess “who” and “what” the brand is, what we want to tell users about a product, and how we want them to think regarding the brand.

GENERAL LOOK AND FEEL

We love to lead with a general look and feel for a website. With this in mind, we create 1 or 2 options for the main website blocks. We discuss these ideas with the team and stakeholders, test it with potential users, decide which option is most optimal for our users and objectives, and then formulate the best way forward.

TESTING

We believe in testing our initial ideas before executing therefore, we often test UI concepts with potential users. One of the tests we use is the “5 second test”, which shows whether we can grab a user’s attention in the first 5 seconds and determine how clearly the product or services are being communicated.

03. WORKING WITH CONTENT

Content is the primary segment of a website. All designs should work around the primary content to present products and/or services in its highest form. Great content is crucial to a great website.

COPY

Copy is one of the most important elements of a website. How you communicate with your users, how clear your message is, and how strong your story is are all critical in a successful launch. It is vital that users understand in the first 5 seconds what products and/or services are.

PHOTOS, VIDEOS AND GRAPHICS

We work with professional photographers, videographers, illustrators, and motion designers to create eye-catching, high quality content that tells your story.

OSE TEAMWORK DURING THE WHOLE PROCESS

We work closely with developers, starting from idea validation to ensure there are no technical limitations. We continue our collaboration process throughout the development process to be sure everything is working as intended and provide additional screens, states, or explanations as needed.
