Referred to as âAmericaâs Race,â the USA Pro Challenge was a blast to work with. For seven consecutive days, the worldâs top athletes race through the majestic Colorado Rockies, reaching higher altitudes than theyâve ever had to endure. It is one of the largest cycling events in U.S. history and the largest spectator event in the history of the state.
Featuring a challenging course, the fourth annual race will spotlight the best of the best in professional cycling and some of Americaâs most beautiful scenery. Below is a collection of work we designed for the race over the last few years. Not all of it was produced, but it was a great experience designing for these guys and as the race came through Boulder it was fun to see our designs walking around outside our office window!
Since 1993 the Avery brewery has been committed to producing eccentric ales and lagers that defy styles or categories. Their products are thoroughly American at heart: blending Old World tradition and expertise with ingenuity, creativity, and boldness. They are dedicated to making beer from the inside out: they brew what they like to drink â with utter disregard for what the market demands â and search out fans with equally eccentric palates. They learned long ago that expressing your true self is much more fulfilling than giving in to outside pressures. Donât you agree? If you think your taste buds can keep up with these brews, they invite you to check out the entire line-up of more than twenty different beers! âPeace to all and follow your dreams!â â The Avery Brewing Crew
Iâve been designing for the dudes at STS9 since I became a graphic designer a decade ago. They were one of my very first clients and I can honestly say that the work I have produced for The Tribe over the years has made me the graphic artist I am today. The merchandise and tour lines Iâve designed have been aesthetically eclectic, to say the least. From the geometric to the organic to the celestial, the work has forced me to grow as a person as well as an artist.
Sound Tribe Sector 9 (abbreviated as STS9) is an instrumental band whose sound is based heavily on instrumental rock and electronic music, funk, jazz, drum and bass, psychedelia, and hip hop, originating in Georgia, USA. Self-described as âpost-rock dance music,â[1] the band mixes standard live rock instrumentation with electronics, favoring group rhythm over individual solos.

I had a great opportunity to design Cat Zinganoâs walkout t-shirt for her bantamweight championship fight against Ronda Rousey in UFC 184. The UFC and her management did a fine job printing my artwork and the shirts looked fantastic on Cat and her pit crew as they entered the LA arena last February. I was honored for the chance to work with such an accomplished fighter and thrilled to see my designs both on national television and being sold on the Official Store of the UFC. Check out my shirt and many more at the UFC store and you can read a little more about Cat on her UFC bio page.

JJ Grey and Mofroâs music has been described as a combination of blues, funk, soul, and rock.[7] All of the songs are written by JJ Grey and reflect the region where he grew up in around Jacksonville, Florida.[2] JJ Grey attributes artists such as Big Bad John and Jim Reeves due to their style of story songwriting and how that style has influenced the way he writes his songs.[7] Grey also credits southern rock acts such as Lynyrd Skynyrd and Jerry Reed as artists who have influenced his style of music, as well as more soulful artists such as Toots Hibbert and Otis Redding.[7] JJ Grey and Mofro are also known for their extensive touring schedule and have continually played at major summer music festivals including Bonnaroo, All Good Festival, Austin City Limits, Wakarusa, and Rothbury.[2] Early on in their touring days, JJ Grey and Mofro gained fame within the jam band scene while touring with acts such as Widespread Panic, Galactic and Ben Harper.[2] JJ Grey attributes most of the bandâs strength to their stage performances rather than in the studio.[7]
